Stonewood group set to drive down carbon footprint with help of sustainability experts

On Friday 23rd November, the first ever Bath Property Awards took place at the Apex Hotel in Bath. Stonewood were delighted to be shortlisted as finalists within the Contractor category back in October and had been eagerly awaiting the big day since.

With the awards ceremony starting at midday, Director; Sam Smart, Contracts Mangers; Tom Carter & Kris Beasley and Senior Project Manager; Joe Bergson arrived at the Apex in anticipation, whilst meeting with clients and colleagues whom Stonewood have collaborated with in the Bath area.

As well as being a Contractor finalist, Chandos House, a refurbishment project that the Stonewood Team worked on alongside the St. Johns Foundation, Aaron Evans Architects and Michael Edwards Consultants were also finalists within the Transformation and Residential Development categories.

Stonewood were announced as the overall Winners in the Contractor category and the judges had the below to say about the company;

“Remarkable growth for a scale business at the top of its game. Highly active with an impressive array of high-quality projects.”
