Camden House, Bath

An impressive Grade II Listed house with truly outstanding panoramic views over Bath city centre, Widcombe and Prior Park beyond. This private home occupies a long wedge-shaped terraced site on the steep southeast facing partly wooded hillside above Camden on the north east side of Bath – a significant site in the centre of the World Heritage City. The house is believed to have originally been part of the Lord River’s Estate and was built as a hunting lodge.
The historic central core of the Grade II listed house dates back to the 18th Century with many additions being added over the years. With the property being used as offices over the last few years, a full refurbishment of the property was undertaken with a new build modern brick extension to house a family kitchen and living area.
