Farmhouse Refurbishment, Gloucestershire
A full internal refurbishment on a large grade II listed Cotswold farmhouse working alongside Bath based consultants Simon Morray-Jones and MEA.
The farmhouse which lists back to the early 18th century is constructed of Cotswold stone, carefully repointing the existing structure to incorporate the new build extension to the side of the house which holds a new plant room.
The stone tile roof coverings were carefully removed and set aside for re-use, stacked in courses for refitting. The roof timbers were carefully replaced and restored where necessary to maintain the characteristic undulations of the period and principal trusses were repaired and strengthened.
